The previous error message was generic, because the old style function signature didn't support a way to specify a reason alongside a freeze effect. This meant we could only say why a value was frozen for instructions, but not hooks which use function signatures. React Compiler
React Compiler is a compiler that optimizes React applications, ensuring that only the minimal parts of components and hooks will re-render when state changes. The compiler also validates that components and hooks follow the Rules of React.
